Ghana is treating me very well. The people are great and the life here is very laid back, 15 min here usually means a half hour our time. The kids are beautiful and love to play with me. I would like to take this time and thank everyone for their contributions for my trip. This has been life changing for me and I will be back to help in the future. I am currently painting at the new orphanage site and it is looking very good. Ill keep you posted.

We Made It!!!
Today I have met my goal for fundraising! Even though it hasn't shown up on my chipin account I have received other donations through checks. With the extra money that does come in I will be spending it on the kids in Ghana. i.e. soccer balls (they love soccer), crayons, cards, coloring books and more. Thank you everyone who has donated for my trip to Africa :).

Attention Error
Yesterday we found out that our chipin account was not going to the right email. No worries just simply go to your paypal account and cancel the donation. This might take a day or two to get back, then resubmit the donation if you have placed a donation to chipin. Thank you and I deeply apologize for the inconvienece. Good news I'm all done with the typhoid vaccine, so all is well!

One more day
I have one more typhoid pill left and then I am all done with my vaccinations! I have experienced mood swings, nausea, and a little bit of a fever, but now I feel better and more donations keep coming in! We have the plane tickets and were almost ready to go just a few more things on the shopping list.
